How did Adrian start in music?
Adrian has been playing the piano all his life because his parents were both classical piano teachers. Before Roman Holliday, Adrian was in a group called “On The Air”.

How did Adrian become a member of the band?
One day Adrian’s friend (John Eacott) telephoned him and asked him to audition for a group that he had joined. Things worked out OK and within a couple of days, they were all on tour in Scotland.

What did Adrian do after leaving Roman Holliday?
Adrian left the band the same time as Brian, and they both set up a band, which only lasted a short time. Since then, Adrian has been very busy working in the music industry.  In fact, Adrian has worked with some VERY famous names. He has either recorded  with, performed alongside or appeared live with the following:- Working Week, Goldie, Jimmy Ruffin, Ronny Jordan, Ian Shaw, Darts, Mari Wilson, Sandie Shaw, Seal, Lisa Stansfield, Lilly Savage, Michael Bolton, Shirley Bassey, Paul Young, Y Jazz FM Dinner Jazz Group and Girlstalk to name just a few. Adrian was also the Musical Director for the BBC TV serial “Pie In The Sky”.

If that seems a  lot, Adrian also lectured on Popular Music at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, The University of Westminster, London College of Music, Brunel University  and Thames Valley University.

Alongside pop music, Adrian has also written music for many corporate videos and presentations.Clients include City Of  Barcelona, Trust House Forte, Charles Barker, Prudential, Jazz FM, Smash Hits, Formula 1, J & B Whisky, BAFTA Awards, Powergen, Piaggio, Nynex and London  Fashion Week. The list is almost endless.

You may have heard Adrian’s work in  some of the following jingles for commercials:- Kellogg’s (especially the  Crunchy Nut Cornflakes), BP, Head & Shoulders, Homebase, Book Tokens, BP and the Sunday Business Newspaper.
